But when her eight year old son returned from school with "next to nothing" on his head, she threatened to sue for the bad hair cut administered by a school employee without her permission. Ball Player Swings At Racing Sausage. In Milwaukee, a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball player apparently went a little batty. During a between inning break in a game against the Milwaukee Brewers, the player smacked a sausage-clad worker with a bat. Booby Trapped. A Tennessee banker believes the halftime show for Super Bowl XXXVIII went a little too far and has filed a class action lawsuit over Janet Jackson's breast-baring incident at the conclusion of the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. The lawsuit was filed against Jackson, Justin Timberlake, MTV, CBS and the networks' parent company, Viacom. Bride Gone Wild! A hotheaded Connecticut bride can add her mug shot to her wedding day photos album after she spent part of her wedding night in jail. Dead and Long Gone. A woman in Louisiana has been charged with felony theft after she allegedly swiped the deceased person's wedding ring. Diplomat's Husband Stripped of Thousands. A high-end Manhattan gentlemen's club has been sued by a foreign diplomat's husband for allegedly adding bogus charges to a bill that totaled nearly $130,000 for drinks and dances. Don't let the tail wag the dog. New York's Court of Appeals will tackle the tale (or should we say the tail?) of a purebred dog and whether the pooch is being discriminated against by current dog show standards. From Soup to Nuts. A South Florida jury has rejected a man's claims that he should be compensated for a sleep disorder he claims he has suffered since he was served the wrong soup at a restaurant. Getting Outfoxed. Now it seems that the creator of the Simpsons claims that Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel threatened to sue Rupert Murdoch's Fox Entertainment over a light hearted parody of the channel's right-wing political stance. Governor Terminates Bobble Head Lawsuit. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has settled a lawsuit against an Ohio firm that produces bobble head dolls in his image. Lawsuit Over Smarty Cat's Degree. It looks like Colby Nolan's MBA degree is not worth the paper it's written on, at least according to the Pennsylvania attorney general's office which has sued an online university where Colby got his diploma. No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. Guess what happens in Durango, Colorado when teenagers want to surprise neighbors with nighttime deliveries of home-baked treats? They end up losing a lawsuit. Now You See Him, Now You Don't. Modesto, California police said a masked man who robbed a local bank on November 17, 2003 forgot something very important before the robbery: it seems he forgot to cut eye holes into his disguise. Waitress Wins Toy Yoda Case. A waitress sued a Hooters restaurant franchisee Gulf Coast Wings, Inc. because they gave her a toy Yoda doll as a contest prize instead of the Toyota car she was expecting. You Snooze, You Lose.
